Sad News to Polka Fans
Of World Wide Polkas....
It is with great sadness to announce that
Stas Bulanda, leader of the Old School Revue
and former leader of the Average Polka Band and
Dyno Chicago, passed away this morning after
suffering a heart attack. He was 57 years old.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 10th
from 2-9pm CST at the Ridge Funeral Home,
6620 W. Archer Ave in Chicago, IL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday,
January 11th at 10:00am CST
at St. Daniel the Prophet Church,
Corner of 54th Street and Nashville Ave in Chicago, IL.
Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.

Of World Wide Polkas....
Due to an issuse with the external Hard Drive... (Where
all the music is stored for doing the show from.),
is for some reason, unable to be accessed for use.
At this time, it's unknown as to when it will be restored.
I will be monitoring the chatroom and hopefully
things will be restored in a timely manner.
When things are back up and running,
I will try to be on the air as soon as possible.

Currently the transmitting computer is in process
of installing the Windows Sevice Pack 3.
I will start the show up as soon as possible.
I hope this process will not take too long.

You can also listen to World Wide Polkas
live on Sunday nights with your
Windows Media Player.
Just by opening an URL with
mms://64.201.219.36/live
to tune into the show.
Open your Windows Media Player 9 or later.
Then click on File
then click on "Open URL".
Copy and paste this in the URL box.

On a sad note,
my Father Ralph R. Gagnon had
passed away today at 8:38am
due to bladder cancer.
Gagnon, Ralph R. age 77, of
Crystal,
formerly of Waverly, MN.
Preceded in death by first wife, Jeannette Gagnon
and brother, Bob Gagnon.
Survived by wife, Lorraine; daughter, Mary Gilbert;
son, Thomas Gagnon; 4 grandchildren; brother,
John Gagnon; sister, Lorraine Warzeha;
8 stepchildren; stepsisters, Loretta Johnson & Myrtle
Kronquist; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Chapel Mass
Thursday, 11 AM, with visitation Wed., 4-8 PM,
and 1 hour prior to service at:
Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel
